In our restaurant, decorated in modern Valais style, or on the lovely sunshine terrace, you can enjoy a generous breakfast and, in the evening, all the delights our kitchen and wine cellars have to offer.

You can expect varied and high quality delicacies from fresh, mostly regional ingredients.

Breakfast

This is how to start the day.

From Monday to Saturday between 7.00 and 10.30 o'clock, you can start the day with lavish breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. The selection ranges from numerous kinds of bread and an extensive choice of regional and national cheeses to fresh fruit and tasty egg dishes.

Sunday brunch

On Sundays, you can sleep late and still enjoy the generous breakfast buffet at your leisure until 11 o'clock.

Culinary in the evening

At the Sunstar Hotel Zermatt, we treat you to an excellent à la carte menu comprising about 20 different dishes, from which you can put together your meal to suit your wishes and your appetite. 

A little hint: Book your evening meals for your entire stay in advance at the special price of CHF 46.00 instead of 51.00.

Our younger guests...

... under the age of 11 can either choose from a children's menu of typical kids' favourites or have one or more courses from the main menu at half price.

Themed evenings

In summer

Twice a week, on Wednesday and Saturday evenings, our kitchen team invite you to a special themed evening. Here you can eat as much as you like from the barbecue, or enjoy a "fondue chinoise" with a huge salad buffet, homemade sauces, unusual side dishes and a delicious dessert.

In winter

We also offer appropriate themed evenings twice a week during the winter. You can enjoy a traditional cheese fondue, so typical of Switzerland, with bread and potatoes, or try some authentic regional specialities on the Valais evening.

Bar

Our bartender will treat you to famous classic cocktails, refreshing long drinks, all the well-known brands, from the simple to the exquisite, and a carefully selected wine list.
